    Responsibilities of the Requester

    Before any digging or excavating, you must call 811 to locate any underground piping or cable lines.
    The requester will be responsible for:
    • ​​Any necessary repairs to irrigation or other underground service lines.
    • Any future damage of any type that may be caused by architectural change.
    • Removing all debris or extra material weekly until the completion of the project. 
    • The change will be in compliance with all Sarasota County building regulations and all necessary permits will be obtained prior to construction.  The owner is responsible for seeing that the contractor obtains all needed permits.   Contractor must be licensed and carry Liability Insurance.
    • The requester will be responsible for making arrangements with Inlets’ Security and the Delivering Company whenever receiving a delivery where the vehicle and cargo exceeds 60,000 pounds (e.g. roof tiles, pavers, moving, etc.).  Deliveries west of the main canal must use the rear gate (under supervision), and deliveries east of the main canal must use the front gate only.
